We started as a side hustle interest in Dubai in 2008, making frozen Filipino meatloaf (embotido), chorizo and empanadas and retailing them to the community. Hence, providing us a motivation to dream about having our own manufacturing enterprise here in Canada.

As a start up enterprise, we envisioned BellaVida CN Food Products to become a premiere food and beverage player across Canada with a strong product and market position. Engaged in an array of food related businesses from production to distribution consumer products and beverages.

Bakúlud, meaning high level ground is a regional farming hometown in the food capital of the Philippines; will be our planned brand name for our initial products.

Our leading products the Pickled Papaya (Atsara) and Chili Garlic in Oil are made from the identical traditional ingredients of our hometown. The products’ we offer are 100% made from natural, fresh and locally source ingredients.

Our products have a significant and growing presence to selected Filipino-owned convenient stores and 2 Asian supermarkets within Calgary, Okotoks, High River, and Red Deer County.
